My summer holidays got over and school got reopened today for new school year 2015-16. I got up early to get prepared for the first day at school. We had found car pool partners for this school and glad that they are our new neighbors at Orchids. They are Aastha and Aakash from C09 of orchids.
My mom and Monika aunty dropped us at the school around 8am. I had located my name in the notice board under Section 6H. My class teacher is Ms. Margaret William. Looks like, 26 kids are in my class. More boys than girls present in our section. To be precise, only 8 girls as opposed 18 boys.
I knew two kids before hand but didn't talk much with them earlier. Now, I have a chance to build good friendship with them. Their names are Akshaya, Nilashma. Two boys from our 5th grade section also joined in the same section. I met two new students Sanjana and Shaily. Shaily is new to the Greenwood High and she seems to be shy girl. I made her comfortable in the new class. During the lunch and juice breaks, met my old classmates and friends.
Our class teacher teaches English to us. Met few other teachers who would be teaching other subjects during this academic session. We met our math, geography, science teachers and they sounded very nice with us. We learnt a little about integers today. All the students got introduced to the class teacher. We played a game called boomerang..
We also got our school diary. We were given our cubbies. Teacher wrote our names and she is going to stick them to the cubbies. Our class teacher explains the rules of the school. In the value education class, we are going to make the golden rules for the month.
